Sentimental Objects

This is a class activation to develop “spontaneous flow” while working with symbolic language – while at the same time developing class unity.
The class is asked to bring a sentimental object from home, and do a little show and tell. Why does this object have any special meaning to them? The object is then passed around in a small group where the group uses the object to prophecy. As Jesus said “look at the birds of the air, or the kingdom is like a net, a mustard seed, etc.” and always took everyday items and filled them with spiritual meaning–we are doing the same thing here. The item has no spiritual value on it’s own—it is just an item, but the Lord can still use these items to tell a modern parable about the person who owns the item — to great affect.
